Fieldmode exists because of a pattern we couldn't stop noticing: the best plumber in town loses the job to the third-best plumber in town, and the only difference was whose phone got answered. Reviews, craftsmanship, twenty years of reputation — none of it matters to a homeowner standing in a flooded basement listening to your voicemail greeting.

We're two Westchester locals. We built the system we'd want protecting our own family's business: one that answers every call around the clock, tells callers honestly that it's automated, books real appointments onto a real calendar, and hands genuine emergencies to a human being immediately. Then we tested it with the hardest calls we could invent — angry customers, gas leaks, 2 AM price hagglers — and published our demo line so you can test it too.

We keep the client list small enough that when you call our office, one of us answers. That's not a scaling problem we haven't solved yet — it's the product.
