What this website collects
Two things. First, whatever you type into our forms — business name, website, phone number, trade, and your consent choice, along with a timestamp and which form you used. We use it to deliver what you asked for (like a Business Scan) and, only if you checked the consent box, to contact you about it. Second, cookieless analytics: page views and link clicks with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no personal profiles. We don't run ad pixels.
What our product collects
Fieldmode's receptionist service records and transcribes phone calls. Every call is disclosed at the start — callers hear that the call may be recorded and transcribed, every time, including on our demo line. Recordings and transcripts are used to book appointments, relay messages, hand off emergencies, and report results to our clients. The client whose phone line it is owns their recordings; we don't sell call data, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the service providers that run the system.
How we protect it (NY SHIELD Act summary)
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with New York's SHIELD Act: access to call data is limited to the people who need it to deliver the service, credentials are unique and rotated, data moves over encrypted connections, and we keep only what the service needs. Our vendors (telephony, transcription, calendaring, hosting) are held to their published security commitments.
If something goes wrong
If we determine that private information was accessed or acquired without authorization, we'll notify affected people and clients without unreasonable delay, consistent with New York's breach-notification law, and tell you plainly what happened and what we're doing about it.
